What is "The Hunger Games"?

Hi, I'm Corinne, and I'm currently learning how to created my own website. For my final project, I decided to build a website about one of my favourite book trilogy of all times, The Hunger Games, written by Suzanne Collins. This story is set in Panem, a nation that rose from the lands of what was once known as North America. After devastating wars that destroyed that whole world, civilization slowly rebuilt itself into Panem, controlled by the Capitol and supported by 13 districts. This trilogy is about a young independant girl from District 12 who's forced into a horrific game for the pleasure of the Capitol. Throughout the books, she fights for her survival and for the freedom of her people despite everything she goes through.

About this site

On this site, I will try to give you a closer look into the world of the Hunger Games by resuming the trilogy and giving a few descriptions of important characters and each district. Since this is also my Final Project, I will be posting my past website projects. Feel free to take a look at my progress in this class.
